The gist of today's story is that rural and agricultural interests are often at odds, with those advocating for attention to the "rural" more supportive of small and family farms than are lobbyists for "agriculture," which often means agribusiness. Among those interviewed, however, was a Farm Bureau official who claimed that his organization represents both types of producers.
