You may have heard, the Parthenon Post Office succumbed to a direct hit on March 7, 2017 by a tornado that passed down the Little Buffalo River Valley, damaging several homes and churches, but no one was injured that I heard. No word on when or if the Parthenon Post office will be replaced. The local USPS did a great job, we received a check that was caught in the tornado, a bit damp and wrinkled but still negotiable!
